At K9 Rehab 4 Motion, our journey began with my girl, Fay—my loyal companion and the heart of everything we do. Fay has always been a bundle of energy, joy, and enthusiasm. We’ve shared countless special moments together, from dog sports like Flyball to stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, and other adventures. It’s always been my mission to ensure she gets to do what she loves, no matter what life throws her way.
However, everything changed during her first Flyball Nationals. Unfortunately, her competition was cut short after a collision that left her injured. The experience was a wake-up call for me, shaking me to the core and highlighting just how quickly injuries can derail a dog’s active lifestyle. Seeing Fay sidelined made me determined to make a difference for other dogs who’ve suffered similar injuries and to ensure they can maintain the level of fitness needed to perform at their best, especially in high-intensity sports. That’s when I dove into learning more about remedial massage and hydrotherapy, seeking ways to help dogs recover and continue to do what they love.
As someone with a background as a swimming teacher, I’ve witnessed firsthand how water can be a transformative healing tool for people. Whether in the pool or in rehabilitation, I’ve always been passionate about helping others achieve their full potential, and I've seen how water provides a low impact yet effective way to support recovery, strength, and mobility. However, working with dogs and seeing the incredible benefits of water therapy led me to realize there was a significant gap in the canine industry—a gap I was determined to fill.
Now, I’m ready to change the lives of many dogs by bringing the benefits of hydrotherapy and therapeutic care into their world. At K9 Rehab 4 Motion, we focus on offering individualized care to ensure each dog can continue to live their best, happiest, and most active life. Whether it's getting back into Flyball, staying active through various dog sports and adventures, hiking, or simply moving with greater ease, our goal is to help every dog achieve their fullest potential.
Fay continues to be my inspiration, and I’m here to ensure every dog gets the chance to feel their best and do what they love. Recovery is just as important as play, and it’s through consistent care and strengthening that we help our dogs perform at their best—strengthening paws every day to keep them healthy, happy, and ready for whatever comes next.
